“This client came in using a cane and had great difficulty going from sitting to standing and had to limit her walking. She requested acupuncture treatment on both knees, her right knee had been replaced several years ago and was more painful than the left knee which was scheduled to be replaced. The client was very sensitive to every acupuncture needle, so for her second treatment I decided to treat her with the red laser. She received two laser-treatments in which she reported an 80% reduction in pain and no longer had a cane and had no difficulty rising from a sitting position. She decided to cancel her second knee replacement. I taught her how to self administer laser treatment and sold her a laser.
