“So far I haven't progressed very far with the construction of the Sovereign of Seas boat. I am, at present, about two-thirds of the way with the hull planking and it is going okay. I experienced some difficulties in the beginning due to the frames being quite thin/narrow so, for instance, planking screws cannot be used.
With this model, I am using my new plank-bending tool for the first time and finding it effective. Aside from some earlier difficulties due to the thinness of the frames, I feel confident this kit will build into a good model.”
