Taylor Hygrometer Reviews

5 Rating 1 Reviews
This was a godsend not only for my guitars but for my whole house. I actually thought I was living in a dry house and thought I would be having to get moisture into my guitars, hence i also bought a John Pearse Humitron which I won't be needing as it turns out my whole house was 65-70% RH. So I ended up getting an Ausclimate desiccant humidifier for cool climates as I live in Victoria, and it has reduced my humidity to 45-50% as well as slightly warming my music room to 20 degrees. So according to my Taylor Hygrometer it's perfect and I have so much more peace of mind. So I absolutely recommend both the Taylor Hygrometer and Ausclimate desiccant humidifier for cool climates. On a final note the Taylor Hygrometer says 45-55% is optimal for guitars, however my Guild information brochure that came with my guitar says 40-50%, so I just try and keep it between 40-55% and that's easy to do with the Taylor Hygrometer and my Dehumidifier.
