“I was looking for an acoustic with a little lighter & brighter tone. I,m getting on a bit and my other acoustics were starting to sound a bit drummy & bassy to my ears. The staff at Modern Musician were very accomodating and I played just about everything in the shop and settled on the Martin D-X2E at a reasonable price it fitted my need well and I found it easy to play. Some guitars I struggle to get the 3 fingers together to play a clean D chord with podgy fingers I found that The Martin wasn't a problem. I was also pleasntly surprised when plugged in to an amp that the sound remained light & bright. Happy with my purchase.”
