“I started my baby chicks out with the vertical type watering nipples and they were very good but they leaked a little bit each time the chicks drank. These horizontal nipples don't leak at all and have been no problem for my chicks to use now that the chicks are a bit larger. I think the mechanism on the horizontal nipple might be too tight for a tiny chick to use but once the chicks are about a month or so old they seem to be fine. I will continue to use the vertical nipples for very young birds and switch to these when they get older.”
“These are definitely the best route. My chicks had never used nipple waterers before, and they figured it out within five minutes. They were all gathered around taking turns trying pout the new gadget in the run. No more spilled water or poop and bedding in water!”
