We tried other watering methods for our chickens and we were concerned if our chickens would catch on to this different method, but it came quickly because of how inquisitive they are. I so wish we had started with this watering method because it saves us so much time due to keeping our hens' water clean continually. We would suggest these nipples to every chicken owner!”
“The nipples work well but need to be replaced every couple of years due to mineral build up. I add a dab of plumbing putty when I screw them into 5/16" Maple syrup tubing as part of an automatic watering system. This provides endless clean water and peace of mind during hot summer days. Occasionally a tiny foreign object gets stuck in the nipple so that it leaks. I unscrew it, do a quick rinse, and it's good to go.”
