“These work extremely well. I was amazed that the girls seemed to figure them out right away. I did not withhold water before giving them access. Their curious nature had one of the ladies peck at the nipple and the rest followed suit. The transition from conventional waterer could not have been easier.”
“Easy installation, simple design. My chicks seemed like they got it, but it's too hot right now in TX for me to take the other one away right now. I tried it one day and showed them what to do and they didn't want to drink out of it after the trial. I'm afraid they will continue panting like crazy instead of just drinking. I'm sure the transition will go fine once it cools a little and I remove the other waterer. Nipples seem to work fine, though.”
“These are great for keeping dirt and debris out of water cans, they are easy to install as well. Took a couple days for my birds to adjust but they've been using it no problem since purchase. No more muddy mess around the water cans. Thank you so much!!!”
“I previously used standard chicken waters that we cleaned each day. Then I added a bucket with vertical nipples to see if chickens would learn to drink from them. This apparently trained them because when I installed these horizontal nipples with gravity feed, they pecked on them before I could get water in the barrel, so I removed all other water sources and they transitioned immediately and effortlessly. These nipples do not leak like the vertical ones, so there is no waste of water.
Im very happy wthe purchase and highly recommend them.

“Bought these for my 40 meat chicks. I've tried other waterers and they always get dirty water. I bought 15 and put them on 2 square 5-gallon buckets, seems to be enough for 40 6-six-old cornish rocks. I do have each bucket about four inch off the ground and the nipple inch from the bottom of the bucket. I have lids on the buckets, a couple athletic chicks were trying to jump on the buckets, no sense taking chances. Pros: easy to install, no leaks, clean water, chicks learned quickly to drink, inexpensive. Cons: none so far.”
