“This is my fourth Easter Egger. They are everything a backyard chicken keeper could want. They are friendly and curious. Easy to work around. Tolerate heat and cold once grown. They forage well. Every one has been a different color or pattern. They lay well, nearly every day year round except presumably when molting.”

“We purchased our EE in May, 2023. She is now a healthy 13 month old hen, who lays 4-5 lg-XL grayish-green eggs/week (a very unique color!). She is sweet tempered and has had no health issues. She began laying eggs later than expected (38 weeks), but has been very reliable since that time.”

I appreciate that MPC sent me two different looking EE chicks— that makes it easier for telling them apart (and since one is my son’s pet and the other is my daughter’s pet, it’s little touches like this that make me happy I ordered from MPC). I will also say MPC’s customer service chat has been phenomenal; I asked a variety of questions over multiple days and they remained friendly, professional, and never made me feel bad for asking the questions I did.
