“This was my first experience ordering chicks online, and I have to say I will never buy chicks elsewhere. My pet chicken excels in customer service and has high quality chicks. I initially placed this order awhile ago, and waited to post this review because I really wanted to include egg pictures! I ordered a few specific breeds and some of the rare breed assortment. Some of my favorite chickens came unexpectedly from this rare breed assortment. Including a beautiful golden cuckoo Marans, her name is sweet potato. And like her name implies she is the sweetest girl. She recently started laying a lovely chocolate brown speckled egg. Another chicken I got from this assortment that I am obsessed with, is a speckled Sussex, she has gorgeous green in her feathers. She is a perfect example of their description of the breed. She is such a joy to be around, and is my sidekick waiting for treats. I will include pictures of all of my gals. But some, like the lavender Ameraucanas I did order separately from this assortment. But they also started laying too, so if you are curious the blue eggs are from the lavenders. I truly adore these chickens. Customer service was also available every time I had questions or concerns. I can’t express how much I recommend this business. I look forward to placing an order in the future!”

Our order included 39 chicks, so other than one white crested polish, I still have no clue what we received in this assortment...I probably should have thought that through before ordering an assortment when we had already ordered multiple breeds of chicks.”

We are sorry to hear that you believe you may have received a sexing error on your order! We do not have a record of your report although a few weeks is really too early to determine if a sexing error has occurred. As outlined in our Sexing Error Guarantee, we ask that you allow the birds to mature and if still concerned, notify us between 14 to 22 weeks of the original shipment date for non-silkie breeds.
