“Our Naomi was one the most alert, feisty, intelligent and fearless as a chick and at almost 2 years old she is still the same. She didn't like to be held until after she started laying. She is just as vigilant over the flock 2nd in command in face and was an amazing mother to some chicks I let her hatch out (hatching eggs I bought for her) when she went broody. I recommend this breed, she lays as described nice large cream colored eggs, is a great forager, went broody only once and was an excellent mother. She's a joy and absolutely gorgeous!”
