“This little yellow chick has precious black spots on her and she arrived very alert and curious! After a week, she already has tail feathers and obvious new wing feathers. She loves to sit on the top of the jungle gym and she was great in our little photo shoot! (Pictured is the Austra White and her friend, the Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock.) Definitely would recommend this breed to anyone wanting chicks!”

“I wrote a review of our Austra White hen a few years ago (shortly after her first birthday). She received a great review at that time as she was healthy, friendly and consistently gave us 5-6 large eggs/week. Well, she is now four years old and consistently lays 4-5 XL eggs/week :-O. She was the last hen to stop laying last fall and was the first to resume laying earlier this month (in February... in Michigan!). Her eggs are beautiful and the shells are as strong as they were when she was a pullet! She has graduated to the top of the pecking order and is an overall FANTASTIC hen.”
