“This little chick is so cute!!
We ordered 7 chicks in total, and all a different breed. This little Ayam Cemani is the smartest, fastest, funniest, most active of the bunch. We named her Elvira and we love her to death and would definitely buy more.”
Thank you for taking the time to review our little babies! These little ones are full of life and just wonderful to have in any backyard flock! We are so happy to hear she is doing well and bringing you happiness! My Pet Chicken hopes to help you with your flock needs in the future!
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this great review of our little ones! We truly hope all of the chicks from your My Pet Chicken order will bring you great happiness for many years to come.
“Worth the money!
Such a great breed!
Mine grew a little slower and I noticed it was smaller than my other breeds. But she is fast and flighty. Not wanting to be held like my other breeds, but maybe that's just her personality.
Beautiful green sheen to her feathers!”
Lisa we are so very sorry about the loss of your Ayam Cemani. We understand how heartbreaking it is. We have been in touch with you directly about your loss and it is covered by our live arrival guarantee.
“We bought two chicks, but one didn't make it. That bummed me out. (They did give me a refund). But the one who made it, we named Sweetie, because after 12 years of chickens, she's the sweetest one we have ever had. She sits on our shoulder like a parrot. She never pecks us. She coos, and she rubs her face on our hands and our leg. As a chick, she thought we would keep her safe (she was nearly dead last on the pecking order and still is.) But she is the SWEETEST little thing alive, which is helpful when people come over and want to meet her. That being said, she has been fairly hardy and lays an egg or two or sometimes three each week (small cream eggs.) Everyone wants to know if we painted her beak and comb. hahaha.”
Although we are sorry about the baby that didn't make it. We are very excited to hear this update on Sweetie. She may be at the bottom of the pecking order, but sounds like she is quite an ambassador for up and coming chicken owners.
