“I'm a little concerned about this one actually being a female as it has a large white splash on its head and females usually only have a small white spot. Time will tell I suppose. I just can't have roosters where I live so if it ends up as a male I will be very disappointed.”
We are sorry to hear you think you may have a rooster! It is too early to tell, but we have our Sexing Error Policy in place in the rare case she turns out to be a he! We have reached out via email with more information in regards to your order.
“My Barred Plymouth Rock females arrived strong and vibrant. Already jumping trying to fly, wings halfway feathered on day 3 in their brooder. Highly recommend these!”
“We got 3 Barred Rocks, as substitutes for others that didn't hatch, in our flock of 15. Upon arrival, one was very unsteady and took much longer than the others to get water going. We kind of thought we might lose her. She was also the tiniest of the bunch. After a bit of coaxing, she started drinking and perked up. She is now the sweetest girl and loves to be held. The other 2 are also among the friendliest of our girls.”
Thank you for taking the time to review our little Barred Plymouth Rock babies! We are so happy to hear they are doing well and bringing you happiness! My Pet Chicken hopes to help you with your flock needs in the future!
