“The chicks all could get to the food with no problem. It is large enough that I didn‚Äôt have to refill it every few hours like other feeders I tried.”

“This item is sturdy and well-built however the design actually is very poor as it encourages the chicks to hop on the top as a perch. This results in them pooping right into the food...every day...every hour....making the food unusable. This product is going right in the trash, unfortunately. Stick with the round feeders and buy 2 or more if you have a lot of chicks.”
“Bought this to try with a larger group of babies. We've used the small round one in the past for 4-6, but this time we bought 10 babies and it was perfect! The set up we have for baby chicks allowed me to put this right up against a wall and all of them were able to feed at the same time. Of course they rotated from slot to slot, but no matter since there were extra slots for rotation :)
The only thing negative i have to say about it is it took a bit to figure out how to open it without having the extra food inside go all over. Once I figured it out, it was a piece of cake.”
