We were truly sorry to hear about your experience. Losing any chick is heartbreaking, and it’s clear you took great care in planning for their arrival and providing for them. At My Pet Chicken, we prioritize the safety of shipped chicks by carefully considering weather, chick numbers, and the best methods to protect their health. While we're glad we could provide a refund, we understand it doesn't replace the rare chicks you were expecting. We're constantly working to improve our shipping processes for the safe arrival of all our feathered friends. Your feedback is important, and we'll use it to refine our services. If you have any further concerns, please reach out to us.

I am giving this three stars as the little one didn't make it past 24 hours :( I gave MPC 5 stars as all the other chicks are perfect, and they were wonderful to work with.

We are deeply sorry for the loss of your chick as we understand how heartbreaking that can be. While we're glad we could provide a refund, we know it can't replace the excitement and care you had preparing for them. Our Blue Maran Violet is a real sweetheart. She's definitely the lowest on the pecking order of our mixed flock, not necessarily the brightest but extremely sweet and cuddly! She's the most petite hen in our flock, a little timid/ fearful at times, a consistent layer of small/ medium dark brown eggs, both cold and heat tolerant, and friendly. She has gone broody for the past few months, so we surprised her with a couple baby chicks this summer that she has absolutely loved her new sense of purpose and has been a fantastic mama! Overall a great quiet addition to round out your flock and add some variety to your egg basket!
