“I have raised more common breeds of chickens before, Buff Orpingtons, White Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, etc. This time I went for more rare breeds for my backyard pets and I'm very glad I did. Our Copper Maran is quite a bit larger than I expected her to be but she is the most gentle chicken I've ever owned.
I gave four stars because he lightly feathered legs and feet tend to cause some troubles. Feathers often get ripped out and isn't the most comfortable for her.
My Pet Chicken was amazing throughout the whole process and I'd highly recommend purchasing chicks from them. They carefully and comfortably pack the chicks for shipping and are very attentive to making sure you get the right chickens.”
