“Bluebell is my one blue EE that came in my mixed flock of 15 healthy chicks. She quickly became my favorite. She's the alpha hen and keeps the others in line without being mean, comes up to me constantly and pulls on my clothes until I pick her up and love on her. She was the first in the group to lay at 4 1/2 months, and now lays beautiful green eggs almost daily. Her gorgeous gray/blue feathers and her thick neck almost make her look like a hawk. I wouldn't hesitate to add another to my flock in the future... I love her to death!”
“We bought 10 varied birds in 2016. Our blue Easter Egger has been a family favorite since the beginning. She has spunk and personality! She recently, after foraging in the garden for a few hours, decided it was appropriate to tell me off by packing at the back door and shrieking at me. When I went out she started dancing on my feet animatedly. Her message not delivered, she flew up to my shoulder and landed there to tell me off right in my ear! Great layer and top bird in our flock! Will definitely get more.”
