“I recently ordered a Lavender Dream Easter Egger chick, and she has grown into the sweetest hen. She is very curious and not easily frightened, preferring to perch at the highest point in the coop. Her feathers are a beautiful lavender-gray, and she has olive green eyes. Lily is truly a lovely girl.”
Thank you for the wonderful review! It is always rewarding to hear how a chick develops as she grows, and Lily sounds like a truly special member of your flock. We love seeing the unique personalities and beautiful traits that emerge over time. Thank you for choosing My Pet Chicken and for sharing a glimpse of Lily with us. Wishing you many years of enjoyment with your lovely girl!
We are so happy to hear that you are enjoying your little ones! Their genetics, which include the Easter Egger, will often provide them with an appearance of being that of a standard sized chicken and they should not grow into an unusually large hen. Please let us know if we can ever answer any questions about your flock or their care needs, we are happy to help!
