“My chickens are already bringing me so much joy! I ordered 4 pullets, they shipped on wednesday of the week specified and I received them on Thursday afternoon via USPS. The lady driving the truck was excited to hear they were chickens. The birds were packed carefully and though they seemed a little confused at first, they were pecking and scratching and chirping away in no time at all. I received (I think) a Rhode Island Red, an Australorp, a Welsummer, and (to my surprise) a Salmon Faverolle. I am excited to watch them grow and to get my first egg :) Thanks for raising happy, healthy birds.”

“I ordered 3 Surprise Me Pullets and received a Barred Rock, Speckled Sussex, and Easter Egger. All three are healthy, active, and fit right in with my flock (after the quarantine period, of course). They were ready to live outside right away in my extra coop and it was an incredibly easy process.
A warning: Be careful when opening the box! The pullets were so excited when I got them home that they jumped right out of their box and I had to chase them around the yard. They can fly pretty far since they are still so light, and they're fast!”

I was nervous about getting a random chicken when I had so carefully researched my other breeds. I talked to the staff and told them the specifics of my set up and they were about to request a breed that fit those specifications. They sent me a Brahma and she is now one of my favorites!
