“My Black Ameraucana was a boss from the moment I opened the box, loud and pushy, she became the flock commander in chief immediately. We often call her Tank, though he name is Myrtle, because she dominates the food distribution game in the aviary. She lays gorgeous blue eggs and is extremely vocal all day long. I won't lie, she can be a bully, but she respects me and enjoys a cuddle. She's four years old and still laying. I wish I could paste a photo of her.”

“Honeybee is one of two of the smallest in my flock as of now. I chose her breed because the adult hens look like ravens with their all black and iridescent feathers. She just likes hanging with her sisters and doing chicken things all day. She could take it or leave it when it comes to being held.”
