“I’m so glad that you all hatch Buckeyes ! They are so friendly and sweet. They follow me around, and if the door is open, they come right into the house. I had one buckeye girl who lived to be 18. They are suited to Maine with their tiny combs and well-feathered bodies. If you haven tried buckeyes… please do ! Also, they’re the only American breed , that was bred initially by a woman ! From Delaware.
