“All 3 arrived in excellent health. They are doing great! I'm exceptionally happy with My Pet Chicken! Their customer service is phenomenal, too! I had called up to see if I could add another chick to my existing order and they updated it with no issue!”
“This bird is beautiful. She's my biggest, and one of the top hens, but she's not overly aggressive. Lays gorgeous large brown eggs almost every day, friendly and likes to be handled. Highly recommend.”
“We ordered 10 Austrolorp hens, 2 Roos, and 3 Wyandotte hens in October 2022. Upon arrival, 1 Wyandotte was lethargic and almost DOA. We got her out of the box, gave her water with electrolytes and she died within an hour of getting her and putting her into the brooder. We also noticed that we had 1 Austrolorp that was blind in one eye and had an abnormal growth/tumor (She lived about 6 happy & loved months before finding her gone in the coop). 1 austrolorp was actually not Austrolorp at all, and ended up being a Barred Rock (we still love and adore our Barbara). One of the Roos is not even a full Austrolorp and has off characteristics that do not match the breed. I have had chickens my entire life, and never had this many problems or this sick of chickens in my life.
If you want healthy, true to breed chicken babies, DO NOT order from MyPetChicken.”
We are very sorry to hear that you had an early loss, a deformity, and a wrong breed. Although these are not common occurrences, especially on one order, our policies certainly do cover these things and we are sorry that you did not reach out to us as soon as you were aware there was an issue. We have been in touch with you directly to offer some options.
“Hardy as could be even if they were not the nicest. I was super disappointed this year when they were sold out of this breed and I could not get them again. This breed was not nice to me, but they were the very best as far as survival. These girls never were the ones chosen by hawks, they never jumped the fences to get eaten by foxes, they never had a problem in the cold, and they never really got sick like my goldens. They were with me for many years until an unknown creature got in. They were feisty, cautious, large, excellent layers, and good girls.”
