“We got our chicks (a mixed flock)in the beginning of June and by the end of October she has been laying about 4 eggs a week. The eggs are not as dark and chocolatey as I hoped but there still beautiful, a chestnut with chocolate speckles. She also the most approachable and one of my sweetest chickens I have. Black Copper Marans are now one of my favorite breeds!”
