“the shipping was faster than expected. it was easy to put together and seems sturdy as well. its not quite as tall as i expected, which makes it a little less user friendly to get into the nesting boxes to collect eggs, but i am 6'3". that is the only reason it doesnt get 5 stars”
“Several pieces arrived cracked but I was able to repair fairly easily with wood glue and clamps. My Pet Chicken was fair and prompt about making amends. Wood is fairly soft so it needs some beefing up to be predator proof. Needs an additional cost of paint to be water resistant. Overall it‚Äôs a lovely and functional coop. Wouldn‚Äôt put more than 4 birds in it. I‚Äôm building an add on run to it to give them more space.”
“This product shipped crazy fast, I got it about 3 days after I ordered it. I was so shocked! Assembly was very simple and took about an hour with two people. There were a couple of dings in the wood here and there, but nothing major, and it totally could have happened in shipping. Also it is rather thin for a coop to keep predators out. I think it will be alright
though. Overall, I'm really pleased with this little coop, and our 6 week old babies love it!”
“We purchased this before we even bought chickens (we're newbies). The two packages arrived and one was really damaged, so the UPS guy sent it back for us. Customer service with My Pet Chicken couldn't have been more helpful, they shipped the replacement quickly. When we finally assembled it, it is GORGEOUS! Sturdy, well-made and our now grown up chickens love it! Two roosting bars, plenty of space below in the run, and the easy slide out middle bit makes it a cinch to clean. Thank you for providing such a great coop for our chickens!”
“The first shipment was so beat up that you sent another complete box. Your customer service rated a 5 but even the second carton had split pieces in it. We needed the coop so we made do but you need to invest in better packaging. Sending another entire box could not be cheap and reading other reviews confirms that this is a very real problem.”
“Arrived with numerous broken pieces. They want to charge me a 15% restocking fee to return it or send me replacement parts for all the broken pieces. There are at least 15 things broken. Material feels like Balsa wood. Popsicle sticks would be sturdier. Disputing the charge with my credit card company at this point.”
