"The Clubhouse" Chicken Coop w/Run No Thanks Reviews

4.1 Rating 209 Reviews
Straightforward assembly stained and sealed x2 seems like it should hold up for a few years, pretty well thought out design for a chicken's house

I love the clubhouse. Directions were iffy but got the hang of them. Wasn’t happy with having some chips in the wood from shipping and handling but it is what it is. Overall happy with my purchase.

I am a (horrible) woodworker and this thing is detailed and amazing for the pricepoint. I live in NYC and the cost for the cedar lumber alone would be near the cost of this prefab. The last couple coops I made from scratch don't come even near this beauty. My nosy neighbor even commented on how pretty it was. I would highlight to a rural dweller that the eves of the run are open and a weasel/mink could easily get in. Said that for an urban flock, this is PERFECT!

Love it just wish it had a place inside the coop for water and food, there's no real good place for it:( it went together great!

I’m very pleased with the quality of MPC’s Clubhouse Coop! Both shipment boxes arrived quickly in excellent shape, all of the parts for assembly were included and best of all, this coop was much better quality in comparison to similar ones from other manufacturers that we’ve tried. The design is very well thought out especially for ease of assembly and the ability to handle interior cleaning once in use. There are pegs pre-installed for ease of lining up parts, the holes are pre-drilled and the wood has a nice solid weight to it. I was able to put this coup together all by myself with an electric drill and about an hour and 20 minutes of my time. It fits together with accurate precision and after having some decent carpentry experience with building our own Amish coop, I can honestly say, the carpenters/designers of the Club House did an amazing job of ensuring that this coop had all of the best features. MPC has a very accurate description of this coup online and I am confident that with a coat of stain this coup will last for many years to come.

My son and I put this together it was pretty simple. Directions weren't thoroughly written by diagrams were easy to follow. My chickens are only 8 weeks and fit fine right now. I love the mesh bottom. So easy to clean. I have it up on blocks with a tarp under it to catch debris. The roof opening seems to serve no purpose.

I bought this coop hoping it would last more than 2 years, but no. It is already coming apart and the finish is really bad. I would think twice about spending this much for cheap junk made in China.
