https://share.icloud.com/photos/0LRSw_ROpiwMlAXJkPJCZIZ8w A few coats of paint, an additional lock on the roof, and an added base made of 2X4’s and 1/2” wire mesh screen lining the bottom for security, and this is a perfect coup for our 3 girls! We have a Buff Orpington, RIR, and a Black Cochin. So far they are 8 weeks old and are really enjoying their new living space.

Last year was my first year owning backyard chickens. In order to save myself some effort and time, I thought I would buy a pre-made chicken coop instead of building one myself. After a ton of research, I decided to go with the Clubhouse coop from mypetchicken.com. It's a wonderfully built coop; great design that's easy to clean, made with high quality materials, wasn't very difficult to put together, and the chickens seemed to like it. HOWEVER, do not buy this coop if you plan to have more than 2 or 3 chickens. I had 4 at first, which full grown they were a little tight in there. Then that 4 grew to 8, which grew to 12.... I ordered a second Clubhouse coop with two extra runs, and made a lovely little home for them. But it was still way too small. I built a huge run for them with the two coops/runs inside, which then lead to building a roof over top of the coops because they flooded regularly (we had a TON of rain last year). Then the chickens discovered they could roost on top of the coop, and I was scraping off poop from that beautiful wood every single day...... That didn't last long! So I finally built an extra large chicken coop, just by putting walls around the roof I had already built, adding a huge roosting ladder, and new nesting boxes. The chickens LOVE it. But now I don't need the Clubhouse coops anymore! Now I'm just using one as a brooder for my new chicks (you know... chicken math....), and the second one I will put inside my run to use as a way to integrate the new chicks when they're old enough. However, now that I know better I really wish I had just put in the time and effort to build a coop from the beginning. It would have saved me a lot of money! But this coop is perfect for anyone with a small space, who only wants a small number of chickens. But beware; once you start buying chicks, it's hard to stop!! :)

It came in a timely manner. Very quickly. We haven't put our chickens in yet because we bought a dog kennel and we are constructing a tunnel for them to go through to get to it. They are 7 weeks and in my bathroom. I am dying for my husband to get it done! Really nice coop.

My first Chicken coop and I love it. So cute and my chickens enjoy it too!! My son put it together and he did not seem to have any problems. Would highly recommend.

Easy to assemble, incredibly attractive, a perfect size for my little flock of four. Arrived speedily, too. Love that the main coop has flooring, to help keep out predators, but with the run extension, a breach has been introduced. Will need to rectify, and kind of wish that in the process of ordering, it had been made more clear that the extension would essentially negate the predator-proofing of the original coop. Still, a solvable problem and love this attractive, cozy, cedar hut!

This coop leaks badly and the screws are so short, they pull right out of the wood. The ramp broke within a couple of weeks. It truly is a waste of money and not easy to put together. No instructions, just a badly drawn diagram. The roof leaked all winter and we are using garbage bags to cover it to try and keep the water out. My poor ladies were getting all wet while they slept. My Pet Chicken is not standing by their product so you will not have any recourse after it is delivered.

The hardware is decent, but than that, I've seen sturdier dollhouses. Several areas need to be stained as the were missed or slight damage. I had to reinforce all of the wire with staples. Several breaks in wire out of the box. 4 bantam maybe, but *no way* is this big enough otherwise. It's cute, but not worth even $100.

Painted the coop with high quality exterior paint . Hopefully it will last 1 year in Texas sum. Few pieces were broken. We managed to glue and screw then back together. Over all, it’s not worth $300.
