“We have been very happy with this coop and runs (we added one) for our three hens. Took time to stain/waterproof and assemble, but very worth the effort.”
“Went together so simply yet, it is a sturdy coop completely enclosed with heavy gauge wire. When the chicks get here they are going to love it once we can put them in the coop.”
“Easy to put together, but it is way too small. I wouldn't put more than 2 chickens in this coop. Wood is also flimsy and a piece was broke. I think one piece was also infested because tiny black bugs came out of it as soon as I screwed it into the top. Otherwise it look aesthetically pleasing, so if you have a just a couple chickens and live in town it would look cute in a backyard. Just not what I wanted in the end.”
“For the most part this is a decent coop. The wood split in one place but it can be easily reinforced. I can already see that my 4 chickens will quickly outgrow it. I will probably buy the extended run when they are back in stock.”
“This is a great little coop for our 3 girls. My husband and granddaughter Maggie put it together one afternoon and the chicks love it! It is a great size for them, well made and easy to assemble.”
“I'm a chicken newbie, will receive 4 one month olds in mid-June. Got the coop all set up, just waiting on the stain. Did purchase the extra run, glad I did... and I may just end up getting one more, we'll see. I have chatted online with the folks at My Pet Chicken and they have been SOOOOO helpful. This coop is so cute. Though the site clearly states the dimensions... it is smaller than I imagined. But that's MY fault. A construction friend helped my husband assemble it and there were no issues. Just can't wait now for my girls to arrive. Thank you!”
