"The Clubhouse" Chicken Coop w/Run No Thanks Reviews

4.1 Rating 209 Reviews
We have 2 Speckled Sussexes and 2 Easter Eggers and this coop is perfect for a small yard. I wouldn't put 4 large breeds in here, but it works for our 4. We modified the design just a hair, replacing the roosting bars with 2 x 4's so the girls could keep a little warmer in the wintertime by tucking their feet up under them. Anticipate need a small rake to take care of the run beneath the coop since you can only get in through the one small door. I rake out the pen a few times a week just to keep things fresh. Keep in mind that a small coop will need more regular maintenance and cleaning than a large coop if you want your hens to stay healthy, but for us, living in the suburbs, this was the way to go. Love it.

Went together easily and was done in a couple of hours. Looks a bit small for 4 chickens though. If you live in a windy locale, you may want to get a hook to hold down the roof as a good wind can lift it open.

This is a well-built and sturdy coop, but if you have large chickens it really is not big enough. Bantams, yes but they still are pretty confined. If your birds free-range during the day then it’s perfect. All in all, it is a nice coop for a beginning birder!!

My chicks haven’t moved into their new coop yet, but this looks like it work well for our four Silkies. We bought the additional run to give them more space. It was pretty easy to assemble and looks good in the backyard. I like that it comes with hardware cloth for the floor. I feel like my chickens will be safe in this coop and run.

I looked at a lot of sites, at a lot of little coops and reviews, before purchasing this Clubhouse coop w/run from My Pet Chicken. This coop is nice and sturdy. It will be nice for transitioning my young chicks to the outdoors. It only took about an hour to assemble it- everything was well marked. It only had one board cracked upon arrival and with just a few photos, My Pet Chicken sent out a replacement piece right away. I plan on putting this coop in a larger run to have more area. I did put a weather protective coating on the wood. This is the best choice of coop I could have made.

Great coop for my girls! I followed the recommendations to water seal the coop before assembly. I was able to put it together by myself in under two hours. Shipping was excellent and all the items were packed securely and arrived in excellent condition. They included plenty of locks to put on the coop to keep predators out, which gives me piece of mind. My baby hens love their home and have plenty of room to roam in the run during the day.

After reading the reviews, I was skeptical on the negative ones- but I took the chance and I am extremely happy with the choice I made. When it was being easily assembled, the roof cap to the club house had a large crack in it from the shipping. I mentioned this to My Pet Chicken and they asked for the pictures, I'd taken of which I supplied them. They had me a new roof cap in the mail in short order. I highly recommend this company. Quality products and quality customer service!! I put a coating of protection over it and I expect it to be in service for a long time. Thank you My Pet Chicken!!
