“Nice scent, but it should not be applied if its going to rain within 36 hours otherwise it all washes away... plus its pretty expensive but if you have an area with a lot of chickens you will need to apply probably once a week. Rake up any straw first then apply, then after drying re-apply stat or other bedding over it.”
“This is my first year of raising chickens. So far, no attacks from predators, no diseases and lots of eggs. Have a 10'x11' coop with A shaped ceiling (6' to 8' to 6'). 1 mixed gallon provides plenty to do all walls, ceiling and floor (including hitting the roosting area really hard) I use it once a week, then put down another layer of pine shavings. Using 10 oz per gal provides 13 weeks of keeping things fresh. I do clear out everything monthly. Anyway four gal a year, $240 w/shipping, $20 a month. No problems so far. Smell good after application (Lemon scent). I'm ordering more !”
