“My Colombian Wyandotte, Cleopatra, is one year old now and simply beautiful. She is more serious than some of the other girls, preferring to wait for treats to be spread rather than eating from one’s hand. She is toward the top of the pecking order and a steady layer of eggs. She recently became broody for the first time, and I am hoping that she will hatch a couple chicks of her own.”
