“About 8 weeks ago I got the assorted blues and greens, along with this order got 3 light Brahmas, and two weeks before I got a lavender Ameracauna, 2 partridge Olive Eggers, and 2 fauvacaunas. Both orders arrived healthy and strong. I’ve since found out that in the mystery order I got a bountiful blue, a Partridge Olive Egger, and a cuckoo blue bar. I reached out to the company when I suspected I got the wrong chick (partridge Olive Egger wasn’t on the list of potentials) and also a male (my bountiful blue has a VERY bright red comb). Amy was so friendly and helpful, she identified my babies, the partridge Olive Egger is just being discontinued next year, but used to be on the list of potentials, I’m so excited to have another! And as far as the male bountiful blue, they said to wait until the bird is 14-22 weeks and if it is indeed a male they will honor their gender guarantee. Mistakes in gendering happen, fortunately I am allowed to have roosters, I just hope if it’s a he, he fits in with my other two roos, but you really can’t beat My Pet Chicken for their guarantee and the friendly and helpful nature of their customer support! They’ve got my business and recommendations from this point on.”
We are sorry to hear that you think you may have both a wrong breed and a sexing error in your order. We stand by our guarantee in both cases and the reporting period is from 14-22 weeks of age. Don't give up too early--we hear from people every year who jump the gun and rehome their "rooster" too early, only to discover later that "he" turns out to be a fabulous layer! We will reach out to you directly to address your concerns.
“I got three exclusive blues and greens assortment, and two are white with very puffy cheeks and one is a gorgeous gray bird. I'm very pleased with the selection I received and they all seem to be females as requested. They are friendly, curious birds.”
“I just had my 2nd order of this assortment arrive - and I am happy to say I ordered 12 I received 5 of the silken EE (so excited wasn’t expecting that at all!) I had 1 favacana, I think 4 super blue eggers and possibly 1 cuckcoo and 1 blue EE hard for me to tell the two apart especially since I also ordered 6 frizzle EE -only time will tell. since I already have all of these birds (except the favacana - i can tell you I know they all lay beautiful eggs between 18-24weeks. Ranging from pale aqua to a deep green this is by far the best assortment you can buy anywhere in my opinion. Pricey but I love spending money. You won’t be disappointed.

“I ordered an assortment of 5 I received one super blue, 3 cuckoo blue bars, and one blue EE (I ordered the silkie EE separately) my girls just started laying the cuckoo blue bars lay the prettiest aqua blue eggs (this breed is absolutely gorgeous the baring is really defined in 2 not so much the other. My super blue egger is a greenish blue egg very pretty and vibrant. The blue EE is a darker blue egg. And my silken EE has an almost white but very pretty pal aqua tint with nice bloom. looks like from the other reviews most people didn’t receive the silken EE - I just placed another order for 12 of this assortment hoping I get one silken EE but very doubtful - for the price you can’t beat it all the birds are absolutely stunning. The prices on this site are high but whatever I like having all these designer breeds running around. Well worth the money”
“I ordered 17 from this assortment and received all breeds except for the silkies- although bummed there’s no guarantee of getting EVERY type with an order that large, 4/5 is better than expected! Every chick lived and ended up being an especially friendly bunch- if you don’t get a Super Blue, get some in a separate order! They lay the loveliest blue eggs almost every day, and are ridiculously friendly and forward. The price differential in the assortment is worth filling most of your flock with, and I suggest adding a single chick to your order if there’s anything you can’t live without. Keep up the good work on designer breeding, MPP!”
“My order arrived as scheduled and I picked up the chicks at the post office before sunrise. They were so loud lol. All were alert except for 1. We got to the coop, the brooder plate was already on and it was warm - food, plain water, and electrolyte water awaited them. Even with my best effort, I did lose the one little chick. Shout out to customer service who helped me with a refund. My only wish - I ordered a variety and a photo list of what I received would have been most helpful. I did go back to the site to attempt to figure it out.”
