“The eggs arrived well packaged and protected, marked with the breed, and an explanation sheet of what the markings meant. Upon hatching, the chicks are already super sweet and friendly. I've got quite the variety and cannot wait to watch them grow up.”
“The eggs came exactly when they were supposed to. I spoke to a representative who lived in Montana who gave me excellent advice that I didn't know about letting the eggs set before putting them in the incubator upon receipt. There are a nice variety of eggs and the children are so excited. We put the tracking route on our board and watched it leave West Palm Florida and arrive in our small town of Jensen Beach. You would have thought we received golden eggs by their little expressions. Can't wait until they hatch!! Thanks.”
“All eggs arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition! So far 5 out of 6 eggs are developing well. Customer service was excellent at answering all my questions and concerns, overall I am very pleased!!”
“I am so happy that we are able to order from My Pet Chicken. It has been a while and I remember having much success with their eggs. The packaging was secure and each egg was carefully wrapped. They were shipped on Friday and we received them on Tuesday. Unfortunately, and I know that a viable egg is not guaranteed, but we only have three out of seven eggs that show an embryo. The others are only yolk, but I will give them a little longer since they are bigger eggs.”
“It was the first time that I hatched eggs. I bought 6 and received 7, of course the week they shipped was super cold. The eggs arrived in perfect shape. Due to the cold while shipping to Washington state they did take 3 to 4 extra days to hatch. Five out of seven hatched. They are so cute and the students are so excited to see them everyday. It was a fun experience and I would do it again.”
“I ordered 12 eggs and received 14 which was great but unfortunately 1 was cracked. It was fun to look over the sheet with my daughter to see what kind of eggs we got. On the 4th day in the incubator I heard a pop. I thought the incubator may have died so I took a look. What I found was 4 eggs with holes in them and an extremely stinky ooze everywhere. The next day 3 more eggs had exploded. The following day it happened to 1 more. We ended up with 3 chicks out of the whole ordeal so I gave the review 1 star for each fluffy butt in the brooder box.”
“Success rate was 1 chick out of 13 eggs! I ordered 6 eggs the first time, and only one chick hatched (healthy and doing well), got 7 eggs the second try and nothing even started to fertilize! I candled on day 7,9, and lastly on day 15- not one blood vessel seen on any egg- and I know what Im looking for. The incubator was at perfect settings the whole time, eggs were turned 3-5 times a day. I can only think it‚Äôs from being shaken too much from shipping or I wasn‚Äôt given fertilized eggs. Save yourself some time and money and find someone local with fertilized eggs!”
