“This is the first time I have purchased from My Pet Chicken. My Pet Chicken has been great! Getting these babies to hatch came with many complications, not on the part of My Pet Chicken. First, the post office told me the eggs had not arrived so they were picked up a couple days late. When I finally got the eggs to my house and opened the box, they were packed perfectly. An extra egg was in the box. Upon the advise of My Pet Chicken, I set the eggs right away but didn't begin turning them until the next day. After about seven days it was clear all of the eggs were fertile. All of the eggs developed beautifully. Hatch day brought complication number two. In the middle of the night on hatch day my incubator stopped working. It just turned off. One of the chicks had already hatched and was in the incubator drying off. When I awoke in the morning, that chick was very cold (near death) and all of the eggs were cold (my house temperature was at 64 degrees). I thought all was lost. However, I put the remaining eggs in another incubator. My guess is that at this pint the eggs had been without heat and very little humidity for approx 7 hours (it took a little extra time to get the new incubator). These complications aside, all of the Fizzled Easter Eggers from my pet chicken have hatched and two of the mystery eggs. All of the chicks hatched out healthy. I will for sure be ordering from My Pet Chicken again. They were very helpful sending follow-up emails, shipped my eggs on time and gave me notice that they had been shipped and apparently sell some very hearty eggs.”
