Incubator/Brooder Thermometer Reviews

4.3 Rating 35 Reviews
This wasn't as useful as I wanted it to be. I don't feel comfortable taping it directly to my sweeter heater, and taping it to the brooder wall below/next to the heater doesn't seem to give a very accurate read.

Thank you for your feedback—we understand how tricky thermometer placement can be. For the most accurate reading, we recommend positioning it at chick level near where they gather, rather than directly on the heater. Some customers use a small stand or clip to avoid taping. We're here if you need help finding the right setup!

Cheaper than Amazon and works great. Thermostats on incubators often don't age well, so this allows me to continue to use my old incubator with confidence that the temperature is perfect.

My granddaughter wanted to hatch eggs for a 4H project. I misplaced my original thermometer for my old Hova-Bator 1602N and tried using a digital meat thermometer as a replacement. I kept getting different temperatures with that, depending on where I put the probe. I've been buying from Mypetchicken for years and they had this thermometer in stock. Received it fast and it works just like the original. The project is on schedule and grandpa doesn't need to worry about disappointing his baby girl.

Easy to read, I give a 4 star because the chicks made a mess on top because I removed the clear plastic, maybe is intended to use it for incubators only or in the brooder face down with the clear plastic so the paper doesn‚Äôt get poop ‚Äç♀

Works great . Also put a thermostat in so chick's could adjust temperature themselves . Excaliburt.
