“I received 4 of these bantams on Wednesday. I got 1 white silkie, I think 2 mottled cochin, and probably a buff brahmas. We'll see as for my guesses. The siilkie wasn't feeling too good so I gave them all electrotyes in their water. That didn't work so I gave her some molasses in water, still she wasn't pulling out of it so I mixed some egg yolk in water and syringe feed her all night and then my husband took over. Around 11 am today she was running around with the other chicks so I was quite relieved. I probably should have cooked the egg yolk first and then smashed up with water but so far it's worked and next time I'll cook it first. Very happy with all my darling chicks.”
“I was hoping for at least one silkie for my daughter. I got none and out of 5 (because I ordered other chicks) I got 3 of the same type of which breed I was not really excited about. I am aware that is one of the risks you take, but it was a bummer to see the disappointment on my daughter 's face. Out of the lot we did get one adorable black Cochin banty who incubated and hatched some Australorp!”
