“I absolutely LOVE these coops, so much so, that I have 2 of the large ones. I have 18 ladies and a female duck that split their time between these. The only downfall is that I ended up having to get stands so that the weight was not sitting directly on the skirt on the bottom. I made ramps to aid my duck easy entrance. Ventilation is good, the door has a nice latch that makes opening and closing easy. Cleaning and bedding replacement is easy with the 2 trays that pull out. Shipping was quick. I was missing the nest dividers and carabiners, so I emailed the company. They sent replacements immediately and free of charge.”
“Easy to assembly, lay all parts out where you can see them, along with the picture. I wish we had not ordered the run and had built our own stand, which would have been a little lower, as I am 5'2". The coop is easy to clean. The eight chicken coop would be better suited for four large chickens. I ordered eight and will have to buy another coop for a few. My chicks are five weeks old and it is just right for them now. This coop needs a window, and ways to hang things up out of the way. It is good and thick so I am hopeful that it will keep them cool in summer and warm in winter. I may try to add on to this coop from the back panel underneath. The vents are good and work well. Four of my chicks are Lavender Orphingtons, two Barred Rocks and two Golden Comets, so large standard breeds... Quick delivery!!!”
“Really like this coop. I was able to put it together with my husband reading directions. He usually builds everything himself, but he had his shoulder joint replaced and wasn't able to. I have never put anything together before this; so I was really happy it went together so easily. My chickens seem pretty happy with it as well.”
“So far, my chickens love this coop. I love how tightly it locks up at night, I never have to worry about predators. A quick note, because this coop is fairly light weight, and it gets very windy around here, we did purchase trampoline anchors and strapped it down. We did not want it to take the chickens on a wild ride:-)”
