“The Formex chicken coop is a great quality coop. It‚Äôs like one of those kids playhouses that seem to last forever. It is easy to assemble and very sturdy. I like how easy it is to clean and to collect the eggs. Our chickens seem to be happy in their new home. I also like how fast it was delivered. The box was ripped in some places but the product itself was not damaged or missing any pieces. I am happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend buying it from this site. They have the lowest price I‚Äôve seen on this model.”
“Near perfect. Our third one! Great for my wife's small breeding flocks. They work excellent, are easy to assemble and (if you consider maintenance of other coop styles) are decently priced.
One of them came with questionable carabiners. We bought some to fit better and used the original ones for something else.
As the wife's farm hand, I appreciate that she can assemble it herself and I don't need to paint it or re-roof it. Win!
Very well engineered and practical.”
“The Coop says for up to eight chickens but I would not put any more than five. I have four hens in mine at this time. I love the material that the coop is made out of it seems very durable and I won't have to worry about wood rotting. The ventilation seems okay at this time. I think this would be a good coop for people who only want four or five hens. I did put mine on a stand and build a ramp for my chickens. Overall I would highly recommend this coop. Just not for eight chickens unless they're the small chickens”
“The assembly was super easy, my son was able to do it within minutes. It is also very easy to clean and I feel better knowing my pets are predator proof. It does fit 6-8 chickens very tightly and wish the nesting boxes were a little bigger. Overall I am happy with it, I still think the price was a little steep and if it was more affordable I would buy another one.”
“I am happy with this coop. I was moving and needed something I could easily put together solo that would be large enough for my flock of 8. This sure was a cinch to assemble (almost took me longer to lift the pieces out of the box), no tools required, and is more roomy than I imagined. Based on my girls I think I could fit more than 8 in there, which will be good when spring rolls around and I start thinking about lil fluffballs again. We'll see about that! In the future I'll be following the instructions for making the lift so it's up off the ground and they have more roaming space beneath. I don't know how to add a picture or I would, sorry.”
