“I have a 5.5 month old patridge olive egger. She is fairly skittish but lays very well- almost every day and started young about 4.5 months old. My only complaint is that she looks nothing like the photo. She looks very similar to a cream crested legbar but with no crest. Because this is a breed specific to MPC and it is over double the cost of the traditional olive egger... it would have been nice to see accurate photos of what I thought I was purchasing.”
“I bought one of these gals this past April. Funky looking bird; does look very much like the cream legbar. She lays very pretty camo green eggs. I call her my roadrunner as that‚Äôs what she resembles when she is running around the yard with her long yellow legs and Mohawk head feathers and freaking out about almost everything. She is very skittish and will scream bloody murder when I touch her or pick her up (which is almost impossible). She definitely doesnt have the personality of some of my other gals but I do enjoy her pretty eggs.”
“Olivia is 16 weeks now, so I don't have eggs yet, but I'm looking forward to the big day. She is so cute with her bouffant head dress and bright yellow legs. She is sweet but shy, usually one of the last one to partake in the goodies I bring for them. I really like her. She doesn't like to be picked up, but will occasionally let me pet her. I can't wait to see her eggs. I'll update this review when she starts to lay.”
“I couldn't be happier with my Partridge Olive Egger!! She's a very sweet hen and lays BEAUTIFUL olive green consistently. I will be adding a few more to my flock next Spring. :)”
“So our Partridge Olive Egger is healthy at nine weeks old, but already I recognize some distinct personality traits. Originally we were supposed to have gotten a Columbian Wyandotte, but something happened, and MyPetChicken called us to ask about a substitute as a result. And so we were recommended a few breeds but the Partige Olive Egger is what we went with. A little funky looking with their little puffs atop their heads, quite cute really, I've noticed that unlike the Olive Egger we had ordered along with her the Partridge Olive Egger is not very anxious to set her place in the pecking order. In the run, she's often curious and not as flighty, she appears to be a very gentle bird. As I mentioned earlier she's only around nine weeks, so we haven't seen those Beautiful eggs yet, but I plan to write a review when we do. I'm quite happy with the support from MyPetChicken, they haven't done me wrong yet! Can't wait!”
“I got two of thesees in April. They look just like the cream legbar? One had yellow legs one has whitish color legs. They are nice birds but I'm kinda wondering if I got let bats instead of cartridge olive ether. Time will tell
If I get olive eggs or blue!”
