She is the runt of the three but was the most active on arrival. Very pretty bird.

Gorgeous hens, that have the cutest little crests. My girl is so calm, I don’t have pictures of her eggs yet, but I can not wait to see them!

These little ones are so adorable, aren't they? And they have just the sweetest personalities too! Just a wonderful breed to add to any backyard flock! Once she begins to lay her eggs, you should find dark olive eggs between a medium to large size. We know you are excited and we welcome you to share your experience with us! Our hen is such a fantastic egg layer and super friendly from the start! She lays the coolest green-almost grey- speckled eggs. She is very easy going and my kids love handling her. Definitely recommend this breed!

Smaller than my other girls, she lands at the bottom of the pecking order. She is a bit shy and tends to stay away from people. Lots of energy, and let's out the biggest/loudest stereotypical eggsong of any of my girls. Fun looking chick, with lots of personality.

It sounds like your little one is falling right in line with how we have observed this breed's temperament and personality traits. They are friendly birds who do tend to be a bit shy and nervous but will definitely show her own personality and sometimes surprise you with a burst of affection when her flock mates aren't looking! We hope that she provides many years of harmonies for you while providing those wonderful eggs! Please let us know if we can help with any questions or care needs. We are happy to be there for you all!

Our Partridge Olive Egger, Cinnamon, was a sweetheart. Sadly, she was super fragile, and showed signs of illness the first day. We did everything we could to help her, but she seemed to have some sort of deformity. Her legs splayed out slightly, and she was unable to swallow food. She died within four days. I would definitely try this breed again, in hopes that Cinnamon's poor health was only a fluke (hence the three stars.) The others we ordered are thriving.

We were so very sorry to hear about Cinnamon! From your description, it sounds as if she may have had splay leg. Please let us know if we can answer any questions or concerns you have about your flock and their care needs as we have Flock Care Specialists available by phone, live chat and email, who are ready to help!
