“These girls are egg machines. Docile little dinosaurs. Our girl Rose reached egg age in winter. 35degree days and upper teen nights. She started laying and has not stopped for over two months now. Even through two weeks of evil heavy snow, wind and finally rain. Trees and heavy snow build up destroyed the run but she laid right on thru it. If you want a friendly layer, this is for you. Just remember. Chickens only have so many eggs and heavy layers stop laying sooner even though they can live 5 or more years.”

A few were less strong than others, but majority were exceptionally healthy. All survived with minimal intervention (except 1 required notably more). Laid on time, nice, good quality Large eggs. No health issues with any to date. Friendly even with minimal effort on a day to day basis. I was able to separate the weaker ones of the group which helped them thrive until they were able to catch up.”
“They started laying at four and a half months. Now, a little over six months old, one of them missed laying one day. It was so hot that I wished they would take a break. The eggs are almost as big as they are (exaggeration of course. They can only free range when I am outdoor with them, but they have a huge run. During their out time, they prefer to stay near me a lot, run off come back shortly. Just love these birds.”
