Baby Chicks: Golden Laced Wyandotte Female Reviews

Beautiful birds! The colors and patterns on them are so eye-catching, in addition to them being good layers and extra fluffy-butted...which is a read bonus in the Rocky Mountains.

Curious and social, she’s also a big-boned gal, largest of the eight chicks in my order. All appear healthy, as one would expect considering the care with which they were shipped. Post office personnel even commented, best they’ve ever seen. Thank you so much!

The biggest of the three and definitely the sweetest. She reserves the spot for chick warmer as the others always cuddle around her at bedtime.

Got two golden Wyandotte chicks with a few other breeds back at the end of April. They were supposed to all be female and one has definitely turned out to be a rooster! Neither like being handled. Hoping the rooster doesn’t cause too many issues. For sure did not want a rooster so we shall see. I plan to give it a go since we live on a farm. They did come healthy and have continued to thrive.
