“My two Spitzhaubens are ten weeks now. As chicks they were the first to fly out of the brooder and the first to hop up onto my shoulder when I was near by. As teenagers they‚Äôre slightly less keen to be handled but still just as spry and funny. You may be surprised by how friendly they are. I would recommend them to anyone who is keeping birds for both pets and eggs.”
“I started with 5 this spring but three were roosters I gave one them away. They are friendly and inquisitive but skittish to being handled and so far seem very predator wary which is good! The two roosters (still teenagers really) I have manage themselves well and are friendly when you have treats”
