“I am not handy, but was able to install this fairly easily. I did watch a YouTube install (small coop) for an idea of what I needed to do before beginning on my large coop. There was one mistake that I made (lined the bottom of something up with the line instead of the middle notch with the line) but it was an easy fix. Overall the install was the worst part and it wasn‚Äôt awful. The door works wonderfully, my chickens are safer now and I don‚Äôt have to worry about late nights getting home, leaving early mornings opening a couple hours before sunrise, or leaving town. It‚Äôs a great product.”
“Love this device. Had issues with the solar panel but that was my fault as I don't get enough Direct sunlight to charge the battery. Also had to install a WiFi booster as the chicken house is about 150 feet from my house router, but that issue was an easy fix. Once I ironed out the issues, it works like a charm... very happy with this product.”
“Keeping in my that we are senior citizens, this door has been difficult for us. We ordered the phone app as well, but are not able to use it. The button on the bottom to open and close manually, does not work properly. The company reached out to us at once, but we have been unable to send pictures, as they do not accept them by phone. Our internet is weak as we live in the boonies...not their fault. It does open in the morning and close at night now. We want to keep it shut early morning, as we are trying to wean out chicks to the Ga. spring weather. If you add the run to this, be sure and mount the controls outside of it or you may be bending over to operate it, should the need arise. We are looking forward to working out the kinks and will review again at that time. Plastic cover over the button does not fit tightly so weather is of concern. I feel this company will offer good communication and will reach out with further assistance.”
