Nancy, we are so sorry to hear that your chickens do not appreciate the taste of Seeds and Mealworms as their option of the Happy Hen Treat Square! Chickens can be finicky! Not knowing the age of your flock, if they are on the younger side, you may want to try letting some time pass and then try again when their beaks are a bit more tough to dig into the treat. We do have other varieties that perhaps your flock will enjoy more? Perhaps the Peanut, Raisin & Mealworms would be better suited to their palates or perhaps the Corn and Mealworm? “I didn‚Äôt realize I had ordered them, but my Wild birds loved the squares. They were all gone within a week!. They actually prefer the seed squares rather than the suet I had been putting out for them. I‚Äôll probably order more at some time, but right now I‚Äôm overwhelmed with health issues. The birds also love your mealworm. They can‚Äôt get enough of them.”
“My only complaint for these is it doesn't come in a giant 5 pound brick! My flock loves this stuff, I think they know recognize the sound of the crinkly plastic wrapper....like kids that can hear candy from across the house!
