My sweeter heater is giving me the security in knowing that my pigeon will be warm on the coldest day this winter.

I could not imagine not having this sweeter heater. I purchased the largest size for the large coop, it hangs over the roosting poles and chickens love it. I can adjust the height since I'm using S hooks and chain, right now in December it is approximately 18-20" high from the roosting poles. I have mostly large breed hens, some sit outside of the heater and some like to be directly under it. I leave mine on late fall thru winter, this is the 5th year and it still looks and works like new. Peace of mind and no frost bite. We do keep the coop cleaned up more frequently in the winter due to risk of moisture causing frostbite. For us this is a must have item.

We use these at Southwest Conservation Center to keep many of our orphaned wildlife warm. They are so much safer than a traditional heat lamp I highly recommend them. No hot bulb to break leaving glass shards every were.

Always a great purchase, as my girls love them to just take a bit off the edge off in frigid MN winter temps. I hang them over their long roosts so they can choose to be right underneath or off to the sides. Sweeter Heaters are truly the best and safest radiant panels out there...high quality and totally worth the investment. Also, I love buying from My Pet Chicken because of their impeccable service. Super happy all-around!

Works as described. Heater needs to be quite low for the hens to get sufficient heat. It has taken my girls a couple of weeks to figure it out.
