“I could not imagine not having this sweeter heater. I purchased the largest size for the large coop, it hangs over the roosting poles and chickens love it. I can adjust the height since I'm using S hooks and chain, right now in December it is approximately 18-20" high from the roosting poles. I have mostly large breed hens, some sit outside of the heater and some like to be directly under it. I leave mine on late fall thru winter, this is the 5th year and it still looks and works like new. Peace of mind and no frost bite. We do keep the coop cleaned up more frequently in the winter due to risk of moisture causing frostbite. For us this is a must have item.”
