“I have brooded hundreds of chicks and have used heat lamps for years with the dreaded fear of fire, or one falling into the brooder, or any other mishap. Of course there is also the issue of the cost of electricity for 6 weeks on each 250W bulb. No more! I am so happy I switched to the sweeter heater. I bought the 11" x 40" overhead mount one for 75 chicks and they couldn't have been happier. It is flexible in terms of whatever type of brooder setup you have... all you need is a couple of hooks. I can pick it up an move it out of the way to clean and it isn't super hot to the touch since it uses infrared rays. I cant think of a single complaint. I am very glad I made this investment.”
