Sweeter Heater Coop & Brooder Heater (4 sizes) 11" x 40" / Overhead Reviews

I feel very safe with this heater. Never gets too hot for the chickens, or too hot for the beddings. Never worry about a problem. It's there if the birds want it and if not, they don't need to be around it.

I purchased the largest heater. My hens and rooster stay nice and warm now on our below freezing nights in Montana. They are very happy, which makes me sleep well at night as well!!! Thanks for the great product!

I tried a couple heaters that did not work out. It was very cold and I ended up bringing my 6 8 month old hens into my back hall to survive the cold. It was -12 and their coop was not even 0 degrees. They were stressed and I feared they would not survive. The heater I had bought was not working. I ordered the Sweeter Heater and it arrived in a few days. I mounted on the ceiling of their coop on one side. Their roost bar is near enough that their bodies are about 8 inches away. I bought an electronic thermometer that I can check the temp from the house while the sensor is in the coop. It is 32 degrees on the floor level and about 45 degrees in the upper level when they roost. I am relieved and feel confident this is a safe reliable heater for my girls. It was more expensive than the ones I had tried, but it is worth it.

The old biddies seem to like the new heat source. After have a fire a few years back we really appreciate having a safer option.

I love these for my chickens. I live in the northeast where winters can get brutal. Hanging about 2 ft above the roost seems to keep my chickens just warm enough when needed. A bit pricy for chickens but eases my mind they wont freeze to death. If I put my hand a foot or so underneath I can feel a slight warmth which seems perfect. I also like not having to worry about fire as with the heat lamps. I bought one and liked it so much I bought another!

This is my second sweet heater. I have one over my roost in my coop and one in the barn for my two Nigerian goats. Safe alternative to a heat light

These are great! Temperature is consistent and installation was easy. Uses very little energy, too. Arrived fast. My coop has warm birds.
