“Worked perfect. All 22 chicks fit nicely. My bedding was shaved pine and I had no worries about lowering the heater to just above the heads of my newly-arrived three day olds. Arriving in late April with temps still going into the 30's, and raised in an outside enclosure. (4'√ó7' with a 5' roof) They all did fine. Just make sure they have warm water.”
“Everything came as expected and the heater is working with the chicks. My only complaint about this is it‚Äôs not easy to set it up for a crate that our chicks are in.
Other than that it is working well and is keeping them warm. Trying to figure out the temp is not an easy task but the chicks are doing really well.”
