“Very healthy with no losses, and we got an extra... 11 of 10 total. However, they are -extremely- skittish despite our best efforts... spooking and almost injuring themselves frequently and extremely noisy at times due to any unexpected movement by us near their coop. They aren‚Äôt at all pets for the kids- panicking whenever someone even moves in their direction. they are usually quiet while free ranging as the breed description suggests... so long as you completely leave them alone. Ive since read nervousness isnt uncommon for the breed but temperament may vary based on parent stock. In any case, prepare for this if you get this breed. They aren‚Äôt old enough for eggs yet so I can‚Äôt speak to that.”

“Unfortunately both Khaki Campbell‚Äôs we ordered died the day of or the day after I received them (6 others are doing great) and also had some chicks die in another shipment that came the same day. It might have been the cold weather and/or shipment that got too much for the little ones. I wanted to write the review because we are so impressed with the follow up and customer service we‚Äôve received from My Pet Chicken before and after the ducklings and chickens died. Extremely helpful when I‚Äôve been on the phone but also thru email and the website chat support. We have previously ordered from My Pet Chicken and never lost a chick. We will for sure order chickens and ducklings again and are looking forward to receive the reshipment of the chickens we lost (2 Khaki‚Äôs were refunded within a week). It‚Äôs always sad to see loss of life and great to see a company that‚Äôs care.”
