It’s the best thing since sliced bread! So glad I Purchased this heater. I live in Maine and temperatures in the past few weeks have not gone above 35. Water is clean, clear, and no ice ever!

This thing has saved our poor girls water from becoming a solid block of ice! Supee simple unit to use and install and keeps the water at a great temperature even in the middle of winter here in Western NY!

It works great. We have temps down in the 20’s and the water never freezes.

I’m in Delaware so the temperature does not get too far below freezing, however when it has, this de-icer has worked. It is in a 5 gallon bucket with nipples and has worked in temperatures in the low 20’s. I keep it plugged in all the time s it regulates itself. The chickens always have ice free water now! Over all I am very happy with this unit and would purchase again.

Works great cord holder keeps it in place and the water is near 50 degrees all the time, even in below zero temps.

This device works perfectly, assuring my "girls" have fresh water all winter long. This set up (a food safe bucket with watering "nipples" and this heater) is much easier to use than waterers with a heated base, which we found to be prone to spillage.

The first time I tried this the I used it with an extension cord and the outlet shorted without me realizing it and my chickens water froze. But once I corrected the problem it worked great! I recommend checking the water every day to make sure it’s working correctly. With that said, it’s one less chore I need to worry about! Highly recommend!!!
